PBA Standing: TNT Tropang Giga finished the eliminations with an impressive 10-1 W-L Records
TNT Tropang Giga finished the eliminations round of the PBA Philippine Cup with an impressive 10-1 win-loss record, securing the top seed heading into the playoffs.
Despite missing the services of their star player Jayson Castro in their last game, the Tropang Giga still managed to eke out a 92-89 win over the Terrafirma Dyip, thanks to the heroics of RR Pogoy and Mikey Williams.
Meanwhile, the defending champions San Miguel Beermen had a strong season, finishing 9-2 and securing the second seed. They defeated the struggling Blackwater Elite, 101-75, in their previous game, with Marcio Lassiter leading the way with 19 points.

The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, who are looking to win their second Philippine Cup title in three years, finished third in the standings with an 8-3 record. They closed out their elimination round campaign with a convincing 102-80 victory over the NorthPort Batang Pier, with Stanley Pringle leading the charge with 23 points.
Both the Meralco Bolts and the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots finished with identical 7-4 records, but the Bolts took fourth place due to a higher quotient. They defeated the NLEX Road Warriors 78-71 in their last game, with Chris Newsome scoring 19 points. The Hotshots, on the other hand, suffered a setback in their most recent game, falling to the Converge FiberXers, 80-73, despite Paul Lee's 23 points.
Speaking of the Converge FiberXers, they finished with a 6-5 record and secured the sixth seed, while the Phoenix Fuel Masters clinched the seventh seed with a 4-7 record. The North Port Batang Pier and the Rain or Shine Elastopainters will face off in a knockout game for the eighth and final playoff spot, after finishing with 3-8 and 2-9 records, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Terrafirma Dyip and Blackwater Elite failed to make the playoffs, finishing 2-9 and 1-10, respectively.
The playoffs are set to begin next week, with the Tropang Giga taking on the winner of the North Port-Rain or Shine knockout game. The Beermen will face the Fuel Masters, while Ginebra will take on the Converge FiberXers, and the Bolts will battle the Hotshots in the other quarterfinal matchup.
